(Al-Ahqaaf) 46 : 28
فَلَوْلَا نَصَرَهُمُ الَّذِينَ اتَّخَذُوا مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ قُرْبَانًا آلِهَةً ۖ بَلْ ضَلُّوا عَنْهُمْ ۚ وَذَٰلِكَ إِفْكُهُمْ وَمَا كَانُوا يَفْتَرُونَ
Then why didn't the deities other than Allah that they had taken as means of nearness help them? Nay, they strayed from them; that was their forgery, and what they used to fabricate.
Without utilizing Adhikr—the Permission of the Three-Time-Knower Allah mentioned in verse 10: 100—and the Splendid Book mentioned in verses 41: 41–43 as the Shield and Safeguard against all calamities, disasters, and Hellfire, whoever follows any other way of life follows a lie and forgery. Adhikr is the only Straightpath mentioned in many places such as 1: 5; 6: 153; 36: 61; and 42: 52, which Allah approved for all His creatures from the first man, Aadam, to the last, as explained in verse 3: 19.
